Overview

Our 150-year-old tradition of service forms the basis for Belmont House today and for the future - most recently through two levels of independent and semi-independent living in the Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Wing, where affordable, excellent care is offered in a non-profit residential setting for seniors.

Belmont House operates as a registered charity providing different levels of care for older adults, depending on their needs.

55 studio, one-and-two bedroom apartments for independent living (including some meals).
26 retirement suites, with all meals for those who need minimal assistance with daily living.
140 nursing beds for long term care residents. Please visit the Long Term Care section on this website for further information on applying for a long term care bed.

All accommodations in the Retirement sector at Belmont House are wheelchair accessible, conform to the highest fire safety standards
and provide:

Around-the-clock security
Laundry facilities on each floor
Ample cupboard and closet space
Sprinklers and monitored smoke alarms
Soundproofing and air conditioning
Wall-to-wall carpeting and venetian blinds
